1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They can be technically necessary (e.g., for a website to function) or serve other purposes such as remembering preferences, measuring usage, or marketing. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, fingerprinting) are subject to the same rules.
2. Current State: We (Essentially) Do Not Use Cookies
2.1 Currently, this website (flowbricks.ltd) uses only technically necessary cookies, if any at all. No non-essential cookies are set.
2.2 Our website analytics (Rybbit) operates cookieless. Rybbit is self-hosted on our own EU server infrastructure, does not set cookies, does not use fingerprinting, and does not collect personal data. It produces only aggregated, anonymized statistics. Details are set out in Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
2.3 Because we currently deploy no non-essential cookies or comparable technologies, a cookie consent banner is not required at present and has not yet been implemented.

4. Our Commitment Before Any Non-Essential Cookies Are Deployed
4.1 Should we ever wish to use functional, cookie-based analytics, or marketing cookies in the future, we will first implement a consent banner that allows you to accept or reject each category of non-essential cookies before they are set.
4.2 Non-essential cookies will then only be placed with your prior, freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent, which you will be able to withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
4.3 This Cookie Policy will be updated before any such change takes effect.
5. Legal Bases
5.1 The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by:
- the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended), requiring prior consent for non-essential cookies;
- Cyprus Law 112(I)/2004 (Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services Law), transposing the ePrivacy Directive into Cypriot law;
- for visitors from Germany, § 25 TDDDG (Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), which likewise requires consent for storing or accessing information on your device unless strictly technically necessary.
5.2 Where personal data is processed in connection with cookies, the GDPR applies in addition; the legal basis for technically necessary processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), and for non-essential cookies Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
6. How to Control and Delete Cookies in Your Browser
You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences/Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
You can also configure your browser to notify you before cookies are set or to reject cookies entirely. Please note that blocking technically necessary cookies may impair the functionality of some websites (currently not the case here, as our site works without non-essential cookies).
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in legal requirements — in particular before any non-essential cookies are introduced (see Section 4). The current version, with its date of last update, is always available on this page.
